You Never Even Knew

You never even took the time to know

You never even took the time to show

the love that has been there since birth

no matter how long this earth turns,

or the tide from the sea washes in

you never even knew who I was

or has it been so hard to figure me out

yes our differences are clear

but our hearts are so near

even though through out the years

our lives has changed

but life does change us all

we grew up

you have seen one side of life me the other

I have seen all sides of life and attended to there needs

 this has opened my heart to life in ways

you may not understand or

comprehend, but I am still me

the little girl with a bumped knee

or a mother with a heart

love grows through out the years,

After all this is life we are all God's family!
